Server

This role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service: Greet guests warmly, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations tailored to their preferences. Ensure a positive and memorable dining experience for each guest
• Take orders accurately and efficiently: Clearly communicate orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring all requests and dietary restrictions are met
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, bussing tables efficiently, and replenishing water glasses and condiments
• Upsell and promote menu items: Suggest additional dishes or drinks that complement their choices, increasing sales and revenue
• Operate POS system accurately and efficiently: Process bills, accept various payment methods, and ensure smooth transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Assist with setting up and cleaning tables, restocking service stations, and adhering to all health and safety regulations

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow restaurant policies, rules and regulations as set forth by Management
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Management; and complete safety training and certifications
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth, efficient and friendly service
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
• Speak with others using clear and professional language
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a server in a similar fast-paced restaurant environment
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality
• Proficient in cash handling, accurate calculations and skilled in processing various payment methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent understanding of food handling and safety and sanitation principles
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Available to work flexible hours, including on Public holidays, weekends and evenings
