Multi-Purpose Associate

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Multi-Purpose Associate to join our small business team. The related duties are as follows:

• Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service and assist customers with product inquiries.
• Restock shelves, refrigerators, and freezers, ensuring products are well displayed and properly rotated.
• Receive, unpack, label, and organize incoming deliveries and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to management.
• Ensure shelves and displays remain clean, tidy, and fully stocked throughout the day.
• Check product expiry dates and remove expired or damaged merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing work areas.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation where required.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
• Replenish shopping bags, receipt paper, and other checkout supplies.
• Follow all food safety, health, and safety procedures.
