Position Specification Role Reporting to the Pricing Actuary, the Pricing Analyst will support pricing, reserving, portfolio monitoring, and research activities across the reinsurance business, working closely with senior actuarial and underwriting staff. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Deliver accurate and timely pricing analyses for decision making and strategy development.
  • Build, develop, and validate pricing models using internal and external datasets.
  • Assist Underwriters with data requests, loss picks, volatility analysis, and cash flow models.
  • Monitor KPIs and assess pricing adequacy and portfolio profitability.
  • Perform initial reserve analysis and contribute to quarterly triangle development.
  • Validate, reconcile, and aggregate data for pricing and reserving.
  • Conduct market research and support parameterization and trend studies.
  • Develop and enhance actuarial tools and dashboards.
  • Communicate technical findings to technical and non technical audiences.

Candidate Profile General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate field.
  • 3-5 years P&C actuarial experience.
  • Prior experience in pricing reinsurance business would be advantageous
  • Programming experience (VBA, Python, R, Power BI preferred).
  • Familiarity with actuarial software such as ResQ.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
