Immigration and Medical Registration Consultant

COMPANY: BARAUD INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT CONSULTANTS LTD.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of Work Permits as well as Council license registrations for a large number of medical practitioners such as doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• This role requires a very organized individual with the ability to work on their own initiative.
• Liaise with clients on Immigration and Registration of all medical practitioners and preparation and submission of related applications for said practitioners.
• Be able to design and monitor monthly reminders accurately.
• Track and monitor all Immigration and Council related applications and keep clients fully informed in advance of all expirations, renewals, and payment dates of Work Permits and any further information which may be required in relation to said applications.
• Maintain a strong and current understanding of the Immigration Laws and Regulations as well as Health Practice Act together with Health Practice Regulations
• Maintain at all times a professional relationship with relevant Government Agencies, Medical Councils and our clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing work permit applications and Medical and Dental Council licensing and registration matters for medical practitioners.
• Candidates must have an in-depth working knowledge of Cayman Islands Immigration legislation, the Health Practice Act and Regulations, and the end-to-end registration requirements for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• The successful candidate must be able to work independently in managing a high-volume portfolio of applications with minimal supervision.
• Must be articulate with advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to cope and remain calm in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines and the ability to deal professionally and confidentially with sensitive matters.
• Excellent computer skills – extensive Microsoft Office knowledge, proficient user of excel, word, and outlook.
• Clean Police record, professional and personal references to be provided with resumes.
• Must be willing and able to work outside of regular office hours if required and ensure all matters are handled in a timely manner.

Work Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Salary range: CI$3,200-$4,600 per month (based on experience and knowledge) plus statutory benefits.
