Job Summary - UHNW Wealth Management & Institutional Advisory Shorecrest Capital seeks an exceptionally experienced investment professional to lead its Ultra High Net Worth advisory practice in Grand Cayman. The successful candidate will advise globally mobile families, family offices, trusts, foundations, endowments and institutional investors on complex cross-border investment strategies, fiduciary governance, alternative investments, portfolio risk management and globally diversified multi-asset portfolio construction. Principal Responsibilities The Director, Investment Advisor will act as lead advisor to UHNW clients with investable assets generally exceeding USD $25 million. Responsibilities include building and overseeing diversified multi-asset portfolios across public and private markets; advising trusts, foundations, endowments and family offices on investment strategy, governance and fiduciary matters; conducting manager due diligence and private investment analysis; presenting recommendations to clients, trustees, boards and investment committees; and maintaining relationships with private banks, custodians, asset managers, legal advisers, tax professionals and other global partners. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have at least ten (10) years’ experience advising Ultra High Net Worth families, family offices, trusts, foundations, endowments or institutional investors, together with experience constructing discretionary multi-asset investment portfolios.
Canadian Investment Manager (CIM®), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), or other relevant professional designations. Required Technical Knowledge Applicants must demonstrate expert knowledge of institutional portfolio construction, Modern Portfolio Theory, strategic and tactical asset allocation, alternative investments, portfolio risk management, valuation methodologies, trust and foundation investment governance, global macroeconomic analysis, institutional manager selection and monitoring, multi-currency portfolio management and international custody platforms. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience advising clients with investable assets exceeding USD $25 million; managing complex family wealth, trust, foundation and family office relationships; developing customized investment solutions for sophisticated international investors; operating in a regulated investment management or private wealth environment; and maintaining a portable book of UHNW, family office, trust, foundation, endowment or institutional client relationships, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, confidentiality and non-solicitation obligations.
