FOOD AND BEVERAGES SERVER

Provide consistent and high quality standard of food and beverage set up/service to all clients, ensuring smooth delivery of conference and function services.

• Customer Interaction: - Greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and offering recommendations on food and beverages. Ensure excellent and professional client service at all times.
• Order Fulfillment: - Communicating orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Service Excellence: - Providing attentive and friendly service, checking on guests' needs throughout their meal, and addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Financial Transactions: - Issuing bills, processing payments, and handling cash transactions.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: - Clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and ensuring the dining area is clean and organized.
• Collaboration: - Working effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Adherence to Regulations: - Following all food safety and hygiene standards, as well as adhere to responsible Service of Alcohol legislation.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: - Ability to clearly communicate with guests and colleagues, and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to Work Under Pressure: - Capable of handling a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Teamwork: - Willingness to collaborate with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverages: - Familiarity with menus, ingredients, and drink preparation.
• Physical Stamina: - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and lifting
• Ability to work a flexible roster including evening, nights, weekends and public holidays as necessary.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish
• Other duties as required and outlined by the Food and Beverage Manager, Supervisor or designated.
