Swim Coach

Darren Mews Sports & Fitness have an urgent need of a Swim Coach who will be responsible for working with swimmers of varying ages and abilities (including special needs and disabled swimmers) and for conducting individual and group personal training sessions. Applicants must hold a USA or equivalent swim coaching level 1. Criminal checks and safety training (First Aid, CPR and Lifeguarding certificates) are essential and must be up to date. At least 2 years’ experience working with swimmers across all age levels including special needs and disabled swimmers. International experience as a swimmer and coach is preferred and ability to attend overseas meets as and when needed is required. Must be able to coach pool and ocean sessions, have a clean drivers license and be available to work early mornings, public holidays and weekends. Excellent communication skills along with good planning and ability to design sessions and training plans for swimmers of all levels is essential. Video analysis experience is also required. Additional Benefits - Health and pension as required by law. Base salary, with commission payable per class taught.
