An electrician at Corporate Electric Ltd. will be in charge of large and small projects while under the supervision of an electrical supervisor and do electrical service calls as necessary.
Install electrical infrastructure in commercial/residential/ construction environments.
Install different types of conduits and bending EMT.
Attend job or project meetings as required.
Read, interpret and work with BCU-approved drawings.
Work along the guidelines of the NEC rules and local regulations.
Delegate tasks to wiremen and apprentices.
Communicate to contractors and customers on jobs and other trades.
Attend to service calls as necessary.
Order material for projects and or jobs of Corporate Electric Ltd.
Responsible for keeping a running stock of materials on small jobs.
Keep company vehicle clean and well stocked at all times.
Ensure company tools are secured on the job site at the end of each shift.
Responsible for doing weekly timesheets on the job.
Responsible for inputting hours worked by employees on their job on supplemental labor forms.
Any other tasks assigned by Corporate Electric Ltd.
Qualifications
Must have a Cayman Islands Electrician License.
A full detailed understanding of the NEC with the ability to interpret and practice the NEC and local codes in everyday work.
Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings in conjunction with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection/plans.
Must be willing to participate in any training or educational opportunities in order to increase his/her knowledge concerning new product lines or codes changes.
Must be open and willing to train electricians, supervisors, wiremen and apprentices to impart knowledge acquired through years of experience.
Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously and with a team.
Must have the ability to organize and prioritize.
May be required to occasionally work after hours as the job requires.
