We currently have an opportunity for a lawyer with a strong corporate and fintech background to join our prestigious Digital Assets and FinTech team in our Cayman Islands office. The successful candidate will work as part of the Cayman Islands corporate practice, advising institutional and non institutional clients, both locally and internationally, on a broad range of fintech matters. This includes advising on digital assets, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, virtual asset service providers, token issuances, platform structuring, fintech regulatory frameworks, and related corporate and commercial transactions. We are currently recruiting for a Commonwealth qualified lawyer with a minimum of six years’ post qualification experience, gained at a top tier corporate or commercial law firm, with demonstrable experience in fintech, digital assets or emerging financial services. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on innovative financial products and technology driven business models, including regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, product development, licensing issues, and cross border transactions within the fintech space. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications, within the range of US$170,000 to US$ 200,000, plus discretionary bonus.
