Job Description

Anchor Tours, a leading transportation provider in the Cayman Islands’ tourism and cruise industry, is seeking a responsible, customer-focused, and experienced Tour Bus Driver to join our growing team. As a Tour Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and enjoyable transportation for visitors exploring our beautiful islands. You will represent Anchor Tours as the friendly and knowledgeable face of our company—ensuring that every passenger enjoys a memorable and informative tour experience. The ideal candidate will be a skilled driver with a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a deep knowledge of Cayman’s attractions, culture, and heritage.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate tour buses on scheduled routes and private charters. Provide engaging and informative commentary on local landmarks and attractions. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers at all times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, public transport regulations, and company policies. Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle at all times. Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling. Manage time effectively to adhere to tour schedules. Maintain accurate trip and maintenance records. Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company with professionalism and courtesy. Stay informed about local events, attractions, and developments to enhance tour quality.

Requirements

Valid Group 3 or 4 Cayman Islands Commercial Driver’s License. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Transport Permit. Clean driving record. Previous experience as a bus or tour driver preferred. Excellent driving and navigation skills. Strong knowledge of local roads, attractions, and culture. Friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills. Commitment to safety, punctuality, and exceptional customer service. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform daily inspections. Physical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules. Professional appearance and attitude. High school diploma or equivalent (additional language skills a plus).
