CHEF

Door No 4 is accepting applications from Caymanians, persons married to Caymanians and Permanent Residents for the position of: CHEF Salary range: CI$8-12 per hour (experience dependent) plus gratuities. Door No 4 is a new World Class Cocktail bar located at the Grove complex on SMB that pushes the boundaries of cocktails, food and bar culture here in Cayman and around the Caribbean. Both the food and drinks menu are modern in design and work symbiotically. We are looking for very experienced and enthusiastic chefs to join our team who will be able to contribute to and develop the menu along with the head chef.

• Chefs must have the following to apply:
• Minimum 5 years experience in restaurants
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with designing, creating, tasting, plating and developing a dish from beginning to end.
• A decent knowledge of multiple international cuisines
• Conduct themselves in their daily work routine in line with the most stringent hygiene protocols
• Be able to work under pressure
• Strong work ethic
• Be willing to work flexible and late night hours
• Own their own set of knives
• Be able to work within a team and be willing to work as a team to achieve company targets
