Hydes & Sons Limited T/A Hydes & Sons, Screen and Metal Repairs, is looking for an experienced screen installer. A skilled, dependable installer who takes pride in their work is preferred. The Screen Installer will measure, assemble, install, and repair various screening products for residential and commercial customers. The role requires technical skills, precision, and the ability to work independently and efficiently in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Reading and interpreting blueprints or installation diagrams Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs as per instructions Maintaining and repairing the installed screen when necessary Testing and adjusting the screen installed Teaching customers how to use and maintain installed screens Providing timely and detailed service reports Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed during work Ordering installation supplies and maintaining inventory Working closely with the sales team to develop installation plans Communicating with clients and resolving any installation-related issues Installation & repairs on Patios and Screen Porches.
Valid driver’s license. Reliable transportation. Knowledge of the installation of the Picket system and texture for different types of screens to use. Own basic tools: impact/drill, snips, levels, etc. Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship Ability to communicate professionally with customers Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work efficiently with a team With a Clean Police record.
