Janitor

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning products and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of cleaning efficacy including cleaning, sanitation, and decontamination.
• Operation of cleaning, sanitation, and decontamination equipment and machines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, and kneel, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work at height.
• Customer oriented, and excellent team player.
• Immensely honest and ethical person.
• Dependability, reliability and punctuality.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and other overtime.
• Post requires a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision.
• Detail oriented.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess customer requests and provide estimate for job pricing.
• Set customer expectations and address the needs of customers.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Cleaning windowsills and windows.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Maintain vehicle supplies and cleanliness.
• Prepare work orders.
• Record work and time in scheduling/timekeeping application.
• Clean up on job site.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
