Medical Laboratory Technologist

Full-Time Medical Laboratory Technologist Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with experience in Biology, Immunology, Medical Engineering or other related discipline along with a minimum of 3 years in the following areas:

• Ability to execute technical tasks and laboratory functions under direct supervision, using established or project-specific protocols and Standard Operating Procedures that must be strictly adhered to.
• Understand and comply with constraints of working in an aseptic environment for clinical-grade products.
• Understanding of quality systems including the importance of documents traceability for products destined for clinical use.
• Able to implement and, if requested, to critically review Quality Control Systems, Lab Safety Systems and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Able to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Must be eligible for registration with CPAM and have excellent oral and written communication skills, English fluency, along with well-developed Mathematics abilities including Algebra. The ability to work efficiently as part of a small team, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment along with attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality is essential. International health care experience is advantageous. Previous medical tourism experience (particularly orthopedics or stem cell treatment) is considered an asset.
