New Horizon Construction & Maintenance Job Opportunity: Mason / Carpenter We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mason / Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both masonry and carpentry tasks, ensuring high-quality construction, repairs, and finishes.
Perform masonry work, including laying bricks, blocks, and stones Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans Mix and apply mortar, plaster, or concrete as needed Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials with precision Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
Proven experience as a mason and carpenter (combined trade skills) Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 pounds Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Able to work independently or as part of a team Flexible to work weekends or extended hours if required
