Security Guard

Advantage Security Services is seeking reliable, professional and motivated Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our clients, their employees, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms and security incidents.
• Control access to buildings and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Identify, assess, and address suspicious behaviour and potential security risks.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Assist with loss prevention and help manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic when required.
• Provide support during emergencies and ensure clear access routes for emergency responders.
• Deliver professional customer service while enforcing company policies and site regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold a security certification.
• Must have a clean Police record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays, weekends, and overnight hours.
• Strong observation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Previous security experience is an asset but not required.
