Janitor

CayRight Janitorial Services is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe and presentable environments across a variety of client sites while delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of commercial and residential facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Wash windows, glass surfaces, walls, and other fixtures.
• Clean and maintain floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, and waste from interior and exterior work areas.
• Carry out detailed cleaning of surfaces, fixtures, floors, and outdoor spaces.
• Operate pressure washing equipment to clean driveways, sidewalks, building exteriors, patios, parking areas, and other hard surfaces.
• Clean exterior areas, including entrances, walkways, and surrounding grounds.
• Assist with the setup, cleaning, and restoration of work sites before, during, and after projects.
• Move furniture, equipment, and materials as required to facilitate cleaning.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Perform general maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting moderate weights (35–50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleaning standards.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
