Janitor

We are seeking qualified Caymanians or Status Holders to join our team as Janitors. The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting,

and wiping surfaces in common areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces.

• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of

waste materials.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing

supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning

solutions and tools.

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including carpet cleaning, waxing

floors, and high dusting.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working

environment.

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines

and instructions.

• Notify the Maintenance Supervisor when supplies need to be replenished or

equipment requires servicing.

• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and perform tasks in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of

cleanliness.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
