Chef

Ragazzi is recruiting suitable Caymanians, RERC holders and legal resident for the position of Chef.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation and Cooking.
• Menu Planning and Development.
• Kitchen Management.
• Inventory and Supply Management.
• Food Safety and Sanitation.
• Staff Training and Development.
• Customer Experience and Quality Control.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as Restaurant Chef, minimum 4 years in a similar position.
• Italian Cuisine knowledge and experience is preferred.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods. (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina. Candidate is require working flexible schedule, including split shifts, late nights, weekends, public holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
