Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Department: Sales/Parts Reports To: Department Manage r - Lead Contact is the Sales Manager Job Summary – The primary objective of this position is to receive invoices from multiple suppliers, input /clear items from Customs, coordinate customs payment, and deliver/pickup goods on behalf of the company. The Secondary function of Logistics Supervisor is to e nter all vehicles and pertinent information into CDK. Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage incoming shipments and address all logistical issues within company

guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with Sales and Parts Managers on all logistics matters.
  • Enter all data into CDK, including ;
  • Creating stock numbers and entering vehicle makes and models once they are ordered

(this should be completed 1 week after the Sales Manager has handed over the)

  • Entering Vin numbers
  • ETA of for cars
  • Checking Vehicles for damage or missing items when collecting from port.
  • If there is any damage to the vehicles coordinate insurance claims.
  • Uploads invoice for parts/vehicles into
  • Corresponded with shipping agents for shipment documents.
  • Locate missing shipments – track shipments to find where they are located and find out new ETA
  • Create Folders and Key tags for new and used inventory for Sales
  • Processing of paperwork
  • Clearing parts shipments
  • Training of new members of team
  • Updating procedures and protocols to staff members
  • Inspects all vehicles for body work, informs customer if work is needed and provides an estimate for body work.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to perform intermediate math.
  • Ability to work independently and be self -motivated within the framework of a team.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to display initiative, work with limited supervision and follow instructions within the framework of a team.
  • Ability to timely multitask while working in a fast -paced environment.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and commitment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and teams in a friendly, productive manner.
  • Computer competency required at an intermediate level.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in logistics or relevant role.
