Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Manager Department: Procurement and Logistics Reports To: Procurements and Logistics Executive Manager Job Summary – The Procurement Manager – Level 2 is responsible for executing procurement strategies that support sales performance, inventory optimization, and cost control within assigned departments. This role leads Purchasing Associates and collaborates with Category Management, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Store Operations to ensure effective purchasing execution, accurate system management, and alignment with overall business objectives. Job Duties

  • Execute procurement plans to achieve gross profit, service level, and inventory targets.
  • Monitor purchasing performance and ensure compliance with approved vendors and company policy.
  • Analyze procurement reports and product performance data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate item setup including vendor data, pricing, promotions, and system parameters.
  • Monitor daily procurement and warehouse operations including inventory turns and service levels.
  • Manage Direct Store Delivery (DSD) processes and minimize controllable shrink.
  • Lead and coach Purchasing Associates to achieve KPI and operational targets.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support SKU changes, pricing updates, and new product launches.
  • Support promotional planning and provide accurate product data for advertisements.
  • Identify logistics efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail procurement or operations management.
  • Experience in perishable or multi-department grocery procurement preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and retail KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related procurement systems.
  • High school diploma required; additional education preferred.

Annual Salary Range - $51,500 - $56,500 This is a full-time position with a working week of 50 hours, any overtime, and holiday hours paid in lieu of time worked.
