Join our Financial Services Office (FSO) and you will work with multi-disciplinary teams from around the world to deliver a global market perspective. Aligned to key industry groups including asset management and private equity, banking and capital markets, and insurance, we provide integrated assurance, consulting, strategy & transactions, and tax services to our clients. As a market segment of the FSO, the BBC includes the Bahamas, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, and Cayman Islands. The opportunity

Be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients in the areas of investment and hedge funds, mutual funds and insurance. Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations. Maintain continuous interaction with clients and ensure outstanding client service. Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends and developments. Understand the clients industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.

Responsibilities

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, law or a related field
  • A CPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting certification, Enrolled Agent certification and/or JD/LLM/LPC degree or equivalent preferred; candidates who are in process of completing their professional certification but have yet to become licensed/ certified, will also be considered

A minimum of nine (9) months of relevant tax compliance or tax advisory experience; prior experience in a public accounting or professional services firm preferred The successful candidates must have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work a flexible schedule as overtime will be required, as well as a dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment. Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday 8 hour days
  • Potential Overtime during peak seasons
  • Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary
