Applicant must have 5 years’ experience cultivating, sowing, irrigating and harvesting crops, feeding and tending to livestock, operating hand tools and equipment such as tractors, cleaning and sterilizing equipment and machinery, maintaining and repairing farm buildings, tending crops by weeding and applying fertilizers and pesticides. Must have a basic knowledge of animal husbandry and crop cultivation, ability to perform manual labour, strong teamwork and communication skills. Must be able to keep records accurately. Must have a clean police and driving record. Only applicants meeting the above criteria will be contacted for an interview. A practical test of skills and knowledge will be administered during the interview. Drug testing may be required.
