The Janitor is responsible for providing professional cleaning services for residential properties, ensuring homes are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other household spaces. Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces. Clean mirrors, interior windows, and glass surfaces. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste. Make beds, change linens, and perform laundry duties when required. Organize and tidy rooms and common areas. Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Follow company cleaning standards and health and safety procedures. Perform deep cleaning and move-in/move-out cleaning as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in residential cleaning or janitorial services, with extensive experience cleaning private homes. Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning products. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license .
