A major international construction group seeks a Project Manager for a landmark luxury hotel complex in the Cayman Islands. The role requires full P&L and operational responsibility, managing a multidisciplinary international team from execution through to client handover. The candidate will oversee production, quality, safety, budget and contractual performance, and act as primary interface with the client and Group senior management. Define the project scope Create a construction estimate based on a material takeoff (MTO) Create and manage a construction project budget Create a construction project management plan Negotiate with general contractors and subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts Develop a construction schedule, with project deliverables and milestones Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers and equipment Allocate and manage resource logistics Create status reports for project stakeholders Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager and other members of the construction team Obtain building permits, licenses and meet code regulations Maintain health and safety standards Requirements: civil engineering degree, 30+ years of international construction experience including proven leadership on major hotel or mixed-use developments, strong profit center management and commercial skills. Fluent English. French and/or Spanish a strong asset.
