Senior Hairdresser

The Senior Hairdresser is responsible for delivering exceptional client service and high‑quality hair care to a diverse local clientele. This role requires a polished professional with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain client relationships, and a commitment to providing a welcoming, hospitality‑driven salon experience. The Senior Hairdresser will also support the smooth daily operations of the salon and contribute to maintaining high service standards. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service to all clients, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs, preferences, lifestyle, and hair concerns.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long‑term loyalty.
• Manage client expectations with clear communication, professional recommendations, and service transparency.
• Address client concerns or service adjustments with empathy, discretion, and effective problem‑solving.
• Perform haircuts, styling, and colour services to a high standard for a multicultural clientele, including textured and chemically treated hair.
• Recommend appropriate retail products and aftercare routines to support client results and salon retail goals.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized workstation
• Support appointment flow, time management, and overall salon efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of professional hairdressing experience in a salon environment.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and client communication.
• Experience working with diverse hair types, including textured, curly, and chemically treated hair.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain client loyalty.
• High level of professionalism, personal presentation, and reliability.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on salon needs.
