AUTO MECHANIC – LIGHT DUTY

KW Mobile Mechanic is seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of light-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate must be able to diagnose issues accurately, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in light-duty vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, engine diagnostics.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults.
• Conduct road tests to confirm proper operation.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Communicate repair findings and timelines clearly.
• Stay updated on new automotive technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience working on light-duty vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Conditions

• Garage/shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials.
