Line Cook

​Chibogs-to-go is looking for an experienced, passionate, and hardworking Line Cook to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a deep appreciation for authentic Filipino flavors, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, mastering the grill, and ensuring our signature menu items consistently hit the mark. ​Key Responsibilities

• ​Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients.
• ​Prepare and cook menu items (specifically Filipino BBQ and traditional dishes) in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• ​Manage the grill station efficiently, ensuring meats are perfectly marinated, skewered, and cooked to standard.
• ​Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times.
• ​Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely manner.
• ​Comply with all local health and safety regulations.

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen experience is strictly required.
• ​Cuisine Expertise: Deep knowledge, well versed and hands-on experience cooking Filipino cuisine, with specific expertise in traditional Filipino BBQ (marination, skewering, and charcoal/grill management).
• ​Speed & Efficiency: Proven ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume line, particularly during busy lunch and dinner rushes (experience with Silog breakfast/short-order setups is a major plus).
• ​Ingredient Knowledge: Strong understanding of traditional Filipino flavor profiles (the balance of sweet, sour, and savory) and proper handling of specialized ingredients.

​Certifications: Valid local food handling/hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain one immediately).

• ​Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
