Lay concrete blocks, bricks, stones, and other masonry materials according to construction plans and specifications. Construct and repair walls, foundations, retaining walls, walkways, patios, and other masonry structures. Mix mortar, concrete, grout, and other construction materials to the required consistency. Measure, cut, and shape bricks, blocks, and stone using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications. Ensure all masonry work is level, plumb, and completed to a high standard. Perform plastering, rendering, pointing, and finishing of masonry surfaces. Repair damaged masonry structures and replace defective materials as required. Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized worksite. Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to complete projects within deadlines. Perform other masonry and construction-related duties as assigned by management.
