Plan and deliver engaging lessons using the Abeka Curriculum. Teach assigned high school subjects according to curriculum guidelines and school standards. Prepare daily lesson plans and instructional materials. Integrate Biblical principles and a Christian worldview into all subject areas. Differentiate instruction to meet the varying academic needs of students. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement. Ensure curriculum objectives and learning outcomes are met throughout the academic year. Implement school discipline policies consistently and fairly. Promote positive student behavior through Biblical teaching and character development. Develop and administer quizzes, tests, projects, and examinations. Evaluate and monitor student academic progress. Maintain accurate grade records and submit reports according to school deadlines. Provide timely feedback to students regarding academic performance. Prepare report cards and progress reports each grading period. Serve as a Christian role model through personal conduct and professional behavior. Pray with and for students as appropriate. Mentor students and provide guidance regarding academic and personal challenges. Encourage participation in school activities, service projects, and spiritual programs. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school meetings. Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries. Collaborate with families to support student success. Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events. Participate in chapel services, spiritual emphasis programs, and special school functions. Assist with supervision duties such as recess, lunch, dismissal, field trips, and extracurricular activities. Support the mission, vision, and values of the school.
