This full-time position includes daily maintenance and repairs of gas and diesel engines including heavy equipment and small/large engine repairs - inclusive of lawn/gardening equipment. Responsible for placing all part orders & maintaining inventory, as well as updating vehicle logs and records. Driver’s license and clean police certificate are essential. Must work 6 days/week. M-F 7am - 4:30pm and Sat or Sun 7am – 1pm. Overtime and public holiday work may be required on occasion. $12-$18/hour. Wage is commensurate with experience. Standard benefits, annual bonus, plus discount on retail products and possible use of company vehicle. Must have at least 5+ years in repairs/maintenance (certification required). Need to work well with others as a 'team' player; take direction (reports directly to the owners); but use own initiative and solid judgement as situations dictate. The successful candidate will be prompt, honest, hard-working, reliable, efficient, and communicate effectively with management, other team members, and community members. Preference will always be given to Caymanians, persons married to Caymanians, and RERC holders.
