We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Accounting to join Dart Management Services Ltd. The successful candidate will support the investment accounting function through financial reporting, system and process improvement initiatives, operational oversight, and the delivery of accurate, timely, and value-added financial information.
A CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years of financial services experience, including 2+ years in investment accounting, investment management, or a similar environment Strong knowledge of accounting for securities, derivatives, valuation methodologies, multi-currency transactions, performance reporting, and IFRS reporting requirements Experience preparing financial statements including consolidated financial statements, and regulatory filings Proven success leading system implementations and upgrades, process automation projects, report development initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts Experience coordinating external audits and supporting strong governance and internal control frameworks Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AI tools, and portfolio management systems, with experience using Sage 100, Bloomberg, and Power BI preferred Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and client service
Lead financial projects, including system implementations and upgrades, automation initiatives, reporting improvements, and other process optimization efforts Prepare and review net asset value reports, investment performance reporting, account reconciliations, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support the day-to-day operations of the investment accounting department while providing guidance, technical expertise, and leadership to team members Research and interpret accounting standards and investment-related regulations, developing controls and procedures to ensure compliance Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives that support informed business decision-making Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and other core accounting activities while maintaining a strong control environment Train, mentor, and develop junior staff where applicable, through effective resource allocation, performance management, and development planning Compensation & Benefits At Dart, we're committed to creating a workplace where you thrive, offering a competitive salary and benefits designed for your well-being and growth.
