WELDER/HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/MECHANIC/BODY WORK/LABOURER

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and machinery (engines, hydraulics, electrical systems).

• Perform welding and fabrication work — from structural repairs to custom modifications — using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Carry out bodywork repairs, including panel replacement, dent removal, and painting preparation.
• Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, forklifts, and skid steers for site work and material handling.
• Assist with general labour tasks, including site preparation, equipment cleaning, and workshop organization.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and keep accurate service records.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, welder, or heavy equipment operator — ideally with skills across multiple trades.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG/arc) and metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
