Mason

Johnson & Gleghorn Construction We are seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Mason to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled masonry work in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and repair structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials
• Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other bonding agents
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans to determine work requirements
• Cut, shape, and lay materials with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to ensure project efficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in masonry or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
