Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations, including upselling Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and prepare garnishes Check customer identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Present bills and process cash, credit or debit payments for patrons Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, including changing kegs and gas cannisters Ensure the bar is kept clean and tidy at all times Stay guest focused to ensure an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Ability to work all scheduled shifts and turn up to the shifts on time Complete all opening, closing and side duties Ability to attend all staff meetings and training days Able to keep composed and cheerful, especially when the bar becomes busy Able to keep track of all guest tabs, ensuring all items are rung in correctly Ability to safely lift, pull and push 50lbs and physically fit enough to work on your feet for a 9 hr shift
