AC TECHNICIAN

Job Title: AC Technician Company: Leroy Holness t/a Subcooling Cayman Location: George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Compensation: CI$ 14.00 per hour Job Overview Subcooling Cayman is seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will work directly alongside the business owner to deliver high-quality service across Grand Cayman. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and execute required repairs promptly.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on cooling systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, components, and controls associated with AC and refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and local safety standards.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide accurate assessments of required repairs or replacements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Note: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is highly considerable. 10+ preffered
• Recognized Technical / Vocational certification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Electrical works.
• Proven hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Strong competence in electrical diagnostics and system troubleshooting.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Clean police record and ability to pass a standard medical fitness examination.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
