Handyman/Helper

The ideal candidate will assist the lead carpenter with all activities on a daily basis. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal or no supervision. Must possess a valid driver's license. Knowledge and experience operating and cleaning power tools. Know how to properly read a measuring tape as well as basic floor plans and diagrams. Responsibilities will also include but not limited to the following:

• Gather materials for workers to handle on job sites.
• Keep job sites clean
• Service tools and equipment
• Move heavy objects
• Cut and install insulation.
• Build scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
• Cut timber, lumber and metals to specified dimensions.
• Install trims and cabinets
• Unload and offload materials and tools from trucks
• Frame wood.
• Establish reference points and lines.
• Smooth and sand surfaces using power sanders
• Post job site clean up
