Plumbing Service Dispatcher

Job Summary

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Service Dispatcher to manage incoming service calls and coordinate daily schedules for plumbing technicians. This role ensures the right technician is dispatched quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and manage daily schedules and dispatch plumbing technicians to job sites.
• Receive and review service requests from customers via phone, email, or online system.
• Assign service tasks to appropriate field personnel based on skill, availability, and location.
• Maintain real-time communication with service teams to track progress and provide updates.
• File and organize reports.
• Monitor service schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Must answer basic plumbing questions from clients and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and customer interactions.
• Respond to emergencies or urgent service needs, rerouting personnel as needed.
• Prepare reports on service activities, performance metrics, and resource utilization.

Skills and Qualifications

• Fast typing skills required, with the ability to handle concerns promptly.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing services and terminology (preferred)
• Vocational training may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agendrix software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in plumbing, trades, or service dispatch preferred
• Computer Literate with knowledge in Bookkeeping
• Must have a Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and ability
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Must have a drivers license
