Job Description

Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, chat, and in person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices. Set up workstations, user accounts, and email accounts for new employees. Reset passwords and manage user access permissions. Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and business applications. Install software updates, patches, and security updates. Troubleshoot basic network, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet, and connectivity issues. Configure and support printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. Monitor and manage help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when required. Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions. Assist with Active Directory user and group management. Support antivirus, endpoint security, and cybersecurity best practices. Perform routine maintenance on computer systems and IT equipment. Assist with data backup and recovery procedures. Maintain inventory of IT assets, hardware, and software licenses. Create and update technical documentation and user guides. Train and assist users on IT systems and applications. Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards. Participate in IT projects, upgrades, deployments, and system migrations. Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to end users. Support remote users using remote desktop and remote support tools. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software support. Monitor system performance and report recurring issues to management.
