Manufacturing Supervisor

Position Title Manufacturing Supervisor Reports To Plant Foreman Job Summary The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production facility by supervising a team of approximately 20 employees. The Supervisor ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. This role includes assigning daily tasks, monitoring attendance, maximizing productivity, coordinating workflow, and reporting operational progress directly to management. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of approximately 20 production yard employees.
• Plan, organize, and assign daily work tasks based on production schedules and operational priorities.
• Ensure employees understand their assigned duties, work locations, and performance expectations.
• Monitor employee attendance and maintain accurate daily timekeeping records.
• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure deadlines and production targets are met.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and communicate work assignments and safety expectations.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company specifications.
• Ensure employees operate equipment, machinery, and tools safely and correctly.
• Monitor housekeeping throughout the yard and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance requirements, material shortages, and operational concerns to management.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in construction, manufacturing, precast concrete, industrial operations, or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and effectively allocate manpower.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and timekeeping are an asset.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
