JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: JANITOR Line Manager: Management of GCHCS Summary: Green Clean Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team. Preferred applicants are: Caymanians/Status & Permanent Resident status, and Persons married to a Caymanian with the Right to Work (RERC holder). Others to be considered: Permit Holders. We are seeking a mature, vibrant, and respectful individual with impeccable integrity and a strong commitment to punctuality and delivering high-quality service, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the Industry, particularly in hotel, commercial, and residential cleaning.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The functions of this role will include, but not be limited to, the following duties & responsibilities: Applicants must be;

  • physically healthy & Fit,
  • comfortable working at safe heights,
  • possess excellent customer service values.
  • have good Work & Business Ethics; being Professional, trustworthy, A well-groomed appearance is essential. The ability to thrive in a multi-national/cultural environment is also key.

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, demonstrating a strong interest in this industry. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in residential/office cleaning, combined with expertise in customer care and/or housekeeping, is essential.

  • Additional duties as required.

  • Must display a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling clients
  • Applicant must be fluent in English (verbally and in writing) Ability to follow verbal & written instructions clearly
  • Must be reliable, proactive and punctual, committed and professional
  • Must be a well-groomed individual who can present themselves well and represent the company in a highly professional manner.

TRAINING

All Employees are provided hands-on training to ensure they meet and carry-out the company’s international standards. Ongoing Workshops are also provided to up-skill employees.

HOURS OF WORK

Our general operating hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and some Sundays. Your work schedule will not exceed 45 hours per week or 9 hours per day. Please note that schedules may vary based on the company’s and the client’s needs. The company observes and will be closed on all public holidays in the Cayman Islands. While we strive for consistent scheduling, you may occasionally be required to work beyond your scheduled hours or on public holidays with short notice. Any overtime worked will be compensated at one and a half times your regular hourly wage.

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: CI$8.75 per hour The Company maintains a group Health Insurance Policy for each of its employees. The Company maintains a Group Pension Plan for each of its employees. The Company pays its staff paid vacation as per the Cayman Islands Labour Act of 10 working days in each calendar year (pro-rated for part-time employees). The Company pays its staff paid sick leave in accordance with the provisions of the Cayman Islands Labour Act (10 days).
