JOB TITLE: Construction Manager SALARY: CI$120,000 - CI$165,000 pa TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 2-Year Contract We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the Dart People team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution and coordination of assigned construction activities. This includes managing subcontractors, maintaining schedule adherence, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
A Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent field experience in construction management 10+ years’ relevant project execution experience in the construction industry Relevant experience delivering US$20m+ commercial/residential/hospitality projects Previous experience in a construction management position Experience with contract administration, claims negotiation and dispute resolution Proven experience working on the procurement buy-out on large projects Expertise in developing, evaluating, and implementing CPM schedules Experience with Project Management Software systems. Experience developing, supporting, and enforcing a culture of safety Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Project
Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure project milestones are met Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to maintain workflow and schedule Monitor safety compliance and participate in site safety audits Monitor daily and weekly progress against schedule milestones and report variances to senior leadership Manage RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation Support procurement and material delivery tracking Take lead role in work sequencing and prioritising subcontractor work Take lead role in ensuring quality requirements are achieved Plan and direct the work in such a manner that the HSE Policies and Procedures, and statutory requirements are met Take an active role in ongoing schedule reviews.
