The individual must be proficient in building concrete structure Builds walls, fences, walkways, roads, and other structures using bricks, stone, concrete blocks, and/or marble. Carves out and builds structures and surfaces with bricks and/or concrete blocks. Mix mortar, grout and maneuver mortar bed. Places brick or concrete blocks on mortar bed. Cuts or saws bricks to fit around windows and doors. Proficient in installation of concrete forms. Measures distances to lay out work. Spreads mortar onto brick or block surface with a trowel. Examines brickwork to ensure structure is built correctly. Performs other related duties as assigned.
