Must have a deep understanding of tobacco laws, age-verification procedures, and regulations governing tobacco sales.
Should possess strong expertise in humidor management, which includes monitoring humidity and temperature, stock rotation, and ensuring optimal product preservation.
Skilled in inventory control, receiving, stocking, and maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
Demonstrates advanced product knowledge across the Cuban cigar industry and its brand portfolio, with the ability to educate customers about different blends, origins, and accessories.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, with a proven ability to build rapport with regular customers and create a welcoming atmosphere for cigar enthusiasts.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Comfortable working long hours—including public holidays.
Most have personal transportation.
Adept at upselling complementary products such as cutters, lighters, humidors, and specialty tobacco accessories.
Experienced in assisting customers in person, by phone, and online with professionalism and expertise.
