We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner or Family medicine specialist with geriatric medicine training, to join our growing practice in West Bay, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. • The successful candidate will provide primary care which includes treatment of urgent and non-urgent medical conditions, management of chronic illnesses, wellness checks, referrals to hospital and specialists, home visits and routine medicals.
• The ability to relate well with patients of various cultures, staff and colleagues is essential and a solid ethical and professional attitude will be valuable.
• A willingness to participate in community outreach ventures would be desirable.
• Any candidate being considered must be willing to work flexible hours.

Requirements The successful candidate must-

• have a Medical Degree (MBBS, MD) and a postgraduate qualification (DM, Family Medicine or MRCGP) from an accredited body recognized by the Health Practice Commission (“HPC”) of the Cayman Islands;
• have at least three (3) years’ postgraduate experience within a hospital/General Practice setting;
• be registered in one of the 7 jurisdictions recognized by the HPC to be eligible to practice in the Cayman Islands: Jamaica, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, UK;
• be proficient in the use of medical software and electronic health records;
• have strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities;
• be willing to relocate to Grand Cayman.
