Operate hand or power tools and related equipment in the removal of concrete and disposal of debris Install, repair, and maintain masonry structures such as brick walls,bridges, residential and commercial structures. Prepare and render walls, columns, floors, windows, doors to finish grade Build and repair floors and walls, using mortar, concrete, bricks, blocks, stone, marble, and other synthetic building materials Perform other related duties Assist framing and carpentry crews with wood framing, truss and truss work, window and door installation, exterior siding, eavestrough, soffits, fascia, and downspouts Assist with assembly and installing framing, roof trusses, framing, and roof system, and window and door installation Install eavestrough, soffits, fascia, and downspouts Measure and mark window and door openings for accurate installation Clean up work space and dispose of construction waste, including scrap, debris, and recyclables Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations Assist other crew members with common task when needed Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods Ability to manage multiple projects. Must have working knowledge of duct fabrication and installation. Apply adhesives and other compounds to ready surfaces for insulation. Assemble and install equipment such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes and furnace casings. Protect insulated pipes from damage or decay by installing and securing sheet metal. Utilize fabricating equipment to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal for insulation projects.
