Mechanic

The successful applicant will be able to provide preventative maintenance, service, repairs, licensing and inspection for all Company vehicles, currently a fleet of 22 vehicles, of various makes and models. Applicants must have at least 5 to 10 years experience in the field of auto mechanical repair and maintenance. Must be familiar with and have a working knowledge of a variety of vehicle makes, models and parts. Further Mechanical and Electrical knowledge will be an asset. Must have the ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when necessary. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be in the range of CI$3300.00 to $4,000.00 per month. All applicants for above positions must possess adequate proficiency in the English language, both oral and written. Must be in good physical health and must have a valid Driver’s License, a clean Medical Record (no mental health, alcohol or substance abuse issues) and a clean and current Police Record (no prior convictions or pending judgments). Must be able to provide at least three suitable references, with two of them from previous employers. These should all be submitted with application. The successful candidates will be expected to work a minimum of 45 hours per week. Benefits in accordance with Cayman Islands Labor, Health, Insurance and Pension Laws.
