Read and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules Cut, bend, and tie steel reinforcement bars (rebar) Install reinforcement for concrete structures (foundations, columns, beams, slabs) Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and securing of reinforcement
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to plans Mix and apply mortar, plaster, and concrete Construct walls, partitions, and other structures Repair and maintain existing masonry work
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials Build and install formwork for concrete structures Construct frameworks, doors, windows, and roofing components Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures
Follow construction drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations Assist other trades as needed on-site Keep work areas clean and organized
