As a Manager in Talent, you are responsible for managing the Talent Experience and lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and relations, learning and development including facilitation, performance management, change management, talent operations, crisis management support and departures.

  • Lead teams and various talent projects in a fast-paced environment, including developing Talent strategy and priorities that align with global, regional and local priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Talent professionals with the opportunity to expand your knowledge across all aspects of Talent/Human Resources (HR).

You are someone with

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree in HR is an asset.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience; preference given within a professional services firm.
  • Experience managing and leading a team.
  • A relevant professional certificate or qualification (i.e., PHR, SPHR, SHRM‐CP, SHRM‐SCP or CPHR, PMP).
  • The incumbent will be expected to facilitate new hire onboarding and a vast array of training programs, therefore a certification or qualification in facilitation is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of Cayman Islands Labor Act, Immigration and managing a high volume of work permit procedures.
  • Experience implementing and administering a HRIS system.
  • Experience managing workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management across all levels.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written and effective planning, time management and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, commitment to professional client service, and seeing tasks and projects through to completion with project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new technologies, including AI.
  • Experience working in an environment of pressing deadlines, changing priorities; working well under pressure, ambiguity, and multi‐tasking daily.

The incumbent will perform the essential functions of this full-time role under normal working conditions, which include a professional office environment at the Deloitte office in Camana Bay. This entails working during standard business hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Flexibility is required to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines, address urgent matters, and coordinate with colleagues in different time zones. A comprehensive remuneration package is being offered with excellent benefits including health insurance, group life and disability insurance, well-being subsidy, professional development allowance, and access to Employee Assistance Programs (“EAP”). Salary will be in the range of US$80,000 to US$90,000 depending on experience and ability. We are currently seeking to fill one (1) vacancy for this position.
