J&A Construction & Repairs The successful applicant will be employed as a Mason/Carpenter and will be responsible for carrying out skilled construction, installation, repair, and maintenance work in accordance with the employer's requirements. The role includes installing and finishing drywall, exterior partition, and insulation, as well as constructing wooden frameworks such as roof frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and subfloors. The successful applicant will also be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and stone for the construction and repair of walls, foundations, columns, and other structural elements. Duties include applying plaster, render, and other finishing materials to drywall and concrete surfaces to achieve a professional finish. In addition, the Mason/Carpenter will install cabinetry, shelving, fitted furniture, doors, hinges, locks, handles, and other related hardware. The successful applicant will also perform any other duties reasonably associated with the position of Mason/Carpenter as may be assigned by the employer from time to time.
